28 lighthouses to open for the public in Greece on August 21

Some 28 lighthouses across the country will be open to the public on Sunday, August 21, in celebration of International Lighthouse Day 2022, the Greek Navy said on Saturday, according to ANA. They will stay open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and people will have the opportunity to learn about the contribution of lighthouses to navigational safety and their significance as cultural heritage. These are the locations of the lighthouses: 1. Ag. Nikolaos - Kea island2. Akrotiri - Santorini island3. Arkitsa - Fthiotis4. Mudari - Kithira island5. Vrysaki - Lavrio6. Fiscardo - Kefalonia island7. Gourouni - Skopelos island8. Drepano - Chania, in island of Crete9. Kastri - Othoni island10. Keri - Zakynthos island11. Skinari - Zakynthos island12. Kranai - Gythio13. Megalo Embolo - Thessaloniki14. Melagavi - Loutraki15. Plaka - Lemnos island16. Koraka - Paros island17. Kokinopoulou - Psara island18. Port of Alexandroupolis19. Tenaro - Laconia20.
