New guidance by the European Transport Federation – addressing harassment against women in the transport sector

Violence and harassment against women transport workers by third parties (customers, passengers and the public) have become a severe issue. A European Transport Federation (ETF) survey in 2017 revealed that half of the women in the transport sector had experienced violence and harassment at the workplace.To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, ETF takes a stand by releasing a new Guidance to address violence and harassment against women in the world of work.
