World Study reveals how cultures and communities respond to risks

A global study shows how different groups of people across the world experience risk in very different ways. The World Risk Poll carried out by Lloyd's Register Foundation highlights some interesting findings connected to the way workers perceive occupational hazards: even if some of the riskiest and potentially deadly situations people face day-to-day happen at work, only 3% of global citizens list work-related accidents as their riskiest moment every day.The poll is based on interviews with more than 150,000 people of 142 different countries and covers, for the first time, 98% of the world's adult population. Including those living in places where little or no official data exists, yet where reported risks are often high. Learn more about The World Risk Poll Read the executive summary Let's block ads!
