Greece records 354 new Covid-19 cases and three fatalities on Wednesday

Greece confirmed 354 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, including 56 related to known clusters and 23 identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said, ANA reports. As of February, when the pandemic reached Greece, Greece has had 18,475 confirmed coronavirus cases, of whom 2,927 are linked to travel abroad and 7,598 to already known cases. In addition, there are 3 more deaths recorded, bringing the number of fatalities to 391. Their median age was 78 years and 96.7 pct had an underlying condition and/or age 70 or more.  Civil Protection and the National Public Health Organization have sounded the alarm at a retirement home in Agios Panteleimonas, central Athens, on Wednesday evening, after 32 tests came out positive for the novel coronavirus.
