New record: 53 million passengers at Greek airports in first nine months

Airports throughout Greece posted a new passenger record over the Jan-Sep 2018 period, with the Civil Aviation Authority reporting more than 53 million passengers, up 10 percent compared to the same period of 2017, when more than 48.21 million passengers were recorded. The number of flights recorded at Greece's airports reached 436,000 - 274,740 international and the rest domestic - an increase of 9.2 percent from the same period of 2017.
