Report: Ski champion Lindsey Vonn keeps secret message in Greek

A Greek word written on Lindsey Vonn’s glove has left media and fans scratching their heads at the PyeongChang Olympic Games, greekreporter.com notes in the following story:The word πιστεύω, meaning ‘I believe’, caught the attention.It mirrors a tattoo she has inscribed on the inside of a finger.“Signifying my last Olympics [in 2018] and just need to believe in myself,” Vonn told NBC’s Nick Zaccardi.Vonn’s final Olympic race ended in disappointment at Thursday’s combined event. After finishing first in the downhill, she went off course in the slalom.The U.S. champion won gold in the downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the first ever in the event for an American female athlete.
