The European Steering Group (ESG) on Sustainable Healthcare has recently launched its Early Intervention Toolkit in the European Parliament,  in cooperation with the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.The Tookit was developed by Steering Group and AbbVie in partnership with The Work Foundation and The Fit for Work Global Alliance. The Toolkit draws from a flagship pilot programme based in Spain that is helping people suffering from temporary work disabilities receive the care they need to recover faster and return to their normal lives before they are permanently disabled.The Toolkit offers a map for creating and implementing early intervention programmes.The Toolkit has identified 4 key success factors and developed a specific framework to ensure success.
