Under-construction Thessaloniki metro opens two stations for visits

Two stations in the Thessaloniki metro system, which is currently still under construction, will be opened to visitors for the first time on June 15-16, giving the public a glimpse of the city's future new transport system, ANA reports. The tours of the stations are expected to attract great interest, since it will be the first time that the city's residents will be able to visit the underground stations. In addition to the stations, visitors can also see exhibitions of photographs of the more important archaeological finds unearthed during the excavation of the tunnels.
