Motorcycle Trailer (Las Cruces, NM) $2650

QR Code Link to This Post I’m sure you looked at the price and wondered if I was crazy, well to that I say “You haven’t bought any steel lately”. I just finished this trailer and it’s brand new. I designed it and built it for myself but things have changed and it’s now for sale. Everything is brand new. It’s never been used. I started with a new 3,000 lb. rated Dexter 4” drop axel and a set of 1250 lb. springs. Three brand-new Big O ST225R/15E Radial Trailer Tires with an E load rating. (tires alone cost $289.00) It’s wired with LED Trailer lights. The deck is 1/4” steel and it’s 120” long down the center, 91” along the fenders and a deck width of 85”. Under the deck I used 3” X 3/8” steel, standing on edge as my reinforcement. The trailer weights 1,200 lbs. I believe you could put three Harleys on this trailer or pull two of the chocks off and put a motorcycle on one side and a Quad on the other. If Snow Mobiles are your thing, pull all three chocks off and you have a nearly perfectly smooth deck and I believe a typical snow mobile could be loaded and secured for travel. The overall width of the trailer is 8’6”. The deck height is 18” when the trailer is hooked to a vehicle with a standard 20” ball height. The included 4’ long ramp will make loading even a heavy bike easy. It is equipped with three MaxxHaul 70075 Motorcycle Wheel Chocks. When adjusted for your wheel size they lock the bike in position and hold it upright while you attach your Tie Downs. Tie Down anchor points are located for all thee bikes and include three nylon straps to secure the rear tire of each bike. These MaxxHaul Wheel Chocks are bolted to the trailer deck and the nuts have been spot welded on the underside so removing one is simple from the top of the trailer. The trailer is painted with Rust-Oleum Farm Equipment Paint in Caterpillar Yellow. I think the Baby Moon Hubcaps give it a finished look. Call or Test: Dick @ show contact info Let's block ads! (Why?)
