I have a 1999 Harley Davidson Super Glide Sport "FXDX" that I purchased new, these were only made for 3 years and soon to be collectable, this one is in excellent and in almost in like new condition as you can probably see in pics and I was riding these bike before they were offered to the public and or produced back in 1998 because I was a Harley test rider and we rode all next years bike the year before they were offered to you and and once I rode these new twin cam Harleys they were going to introduce I knew I had to have one, it was a breath of fresh air as far as power, torque, braking and handling over any and all models before it. Perfectly and meticulously maintained, and with only a little over 10,000 miles on it, that's right only 10k miles and since the 1st dealership break in oil change in which they used Harley oil, and only because it was before Harleys Syntec oil and due to their warranty but since then its only had nothing except Mobil 1 full synthetic for air cooled V twins motorcycles and only Harleys micron oil filters. This bike has no leaks anywhere, no issues whatsoever, good tires, recent and like new rear pads, good fronts and Brembo 5.1 silicone brake fluid flush n fill front pads are still very good, has rear drilled and dual front brake rotors so it brakes very well, it also has a Screaming Eagle fork brace plus a nice aluminum steering damper too so you get no fork flex when in high speed cornering and a suspension upgraded to the best in Progressive rear shocks and front fork springs with Screaming Eagle heavy fork fluid, bike handles very well and way above Harleys claim of their best handling Harley. Also as you can see it has the Harley quarter fairing and yes it definitely works and the windscreen is adjustable, my friend was an artist, she passed away, and hand painted the FXDX on the tranny cover and the Willey coyote on the missile ride letting people know its FAST with a dyno tuned 92 HP and it has the lower Harley air dam directing cool air where it needs to be. Has a very nice comfy and real low profile Lepara seat and low profile backrest it you ride passengers but if not this Lepara seat has the removable passenger seat leaving it a very sharp looking solo seat with a real nice Mustang bibb already in place when that passenger seat is removed, also has the battery tender connection in place and comes with the best and one and only Battery tender itself, the side engine mounted OEM horn has been replaced and moved to the center front of forks where it should be and its like a jap bike horn rather than Harleys dull horn, has Kuryakn bullet lights on the rear that are red lens brake light back ups with very bright halogens, has aftermarket signals on fairing but they are manual on switch, I use hand signals so people can't miss my intentions. The primary inspection cover for the clutch has a nice looking laser cut Screaming Eagle insignia on it and the timing cover is also a Screaming Eagle cover and they both look really sharp as does the Trademark symbol on the battery cover. Now lets talk engine and power improvements, to start with the ok stock dual cams that utilized a chain and gears to drive them along with a chain tensioner to keep that chain tight have all been completely removed immediately after my 1yr warranty expired and replaced with a SnS direct gear driven 510G cams and to compliment that the entire ignition system was replaced with HD's Screaming Eagle system, rev limiter at 6200 rpm's but it screams at 6000 and I've never exceeded that nor do I run around doing that often especially the last 8-10 yrs of ownership and now at 61yrs old and with some physical disabilities I hardly been riding much at all due to disabilities. Anyhow the original carburetor has all been worked too with plug drilled out, Thunder plastic slide kit and in addition the Thunder high top diaphragm cover kit which gives the slide more slide for more fuel, believe me when I tell you this bike is very fast, sounds awesome with its Thunder header, brakes and handles very well, looks almost new and with only 10k miles its very fresh and bound to be collectable since they only produced it for 3 years, its Harleys Davidson sport bike, oil and filter won't need changing for another 4500 miles. I have a Harley Davidson "Bad Boy" FXSTSB too that I've owned since 2006, purchased that after another friends passing from the estate that's listed for sale too here on Craig's list, I'm all done riding with my age and disabilities and my luck of 45 yrs on 2 wheels road with no street lay downs and I was nuts so its a miracle and I don't want to push my luck anymore, I actually have some fear now and that's not safe and keeping them the way I like them is a job too that I don't want anymore, I'm disabled.
