1961 CJ/BMW R1000/7 Conversion Bike with Military Sidecar (Indianapolis) $13900

QR Code Link to This Post This is a great, award winning BMW conversion motorcycle. It started life as a 1961 CJ 750. It was striped down to the bare frame, preped and power coated a beautiful Indigo Blue. The CJ750 motor was scraped and replaced with a fully rebuilt BMW100/7 motor. The CJ transmission was rebuilt as well as the clutch and drive train. The sidecar is Military and is identical to the sidecars used on the prewar BMW R75's. It features two original amo boxes and water can. The sidecar is unique in that is has a super cool rumble seat/trunk. The front brakes were converted from hub brakes to a modern Disc brake system. New tires were installed. I recently replaced the clutch cable, new tune up and oil change. I also replaced the battery with a new 385 cold cranking amp battery and new cable ends. This beautiful bike has been completely restored with only 2496 miles on the restoration. I am just returning from the BMW MOA Rally in Lebanon Tennessee where the bike won first place in the Peoples Choice for it's category. Many vintage bikes of the caliber sell for 18k or more but I need to buy a newer HD truck and I want to pay cash for it. Therefore, I am offering this beautiful vintage motorcycle at only $13,900.00 or will consider a trade for a newer model Ford Power Stroke or Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel Truck Let's block ads! (Why?)
