QR Code Link to This Post Ever get a bike and determine it's just not a good fit? That's where I am with this nice motorcycle. Put a lot of time and money into it to get it back on the road, and after a few short rides, I've come to the conclusion that I like looking at it more than riding it. It's just not "me".Brand new Dunlop tires, brakes and calipers rebuilt with Honda OEM parts and pads, new battery. Carbs cleaned and sync'd at local shop. New fuel pump. Fluids changed and bike gone over. Factory service manual. Ready for the road and milage will go up in small increments as I ride it when I get the urge. I thought I'd put tons of miles on this bike and was excited to have a big sport touring bike with antilock brakes and traction control. Sadly, I'm just not comfortable on it. So, I'm interested in a trade for something that fits me better. What is it? I dunno... What do you have? Must be highway legal and capable of longer rides, but really most of my riding is in 20 mile increments LOL although I may get a wild hair and decide to ride it to Michigan or something... So the bike ought to be capable. I am fond of ANYTHING made in 1987 but the thought of fuel injection is always tempting LOL no cars, drones, basket cases, video games, etc etc. If someone really wants to give me $3,000 cash, ok, I'll buy something else in that case. But I'm thinking there's someone with a cool odd bike perhaps that wants something with longer legs and is ready to drive to Florida or cross country, which is what this bike is made for really. Got a Sportster you've "outgrown"? Maybe a Guzzi V7? I dunno! Let's meet out, swap rides for a test drive, and see if we can come to a deal! For the right bike, cash is negotiable on either side.
