QR Code Link to This Post Well cared for, beautiful 2005 ‘30th Anniversary Edition’ GoldWing GL1800 with approx. 61,000 miles, and a matching 2004 Escapade Elite trailer. We have really enjoyed riding this Wing, with/without the trailer, but it is time for us to move on. If you are looking for the perfect ride for long-distance travel, this combination is definitely it! Then, drop the trailer and you’re ready for the Dragon’s Tail! The GoldWing is a great ride; it’s quite maneuverable for being a big bike. It’s also very smooth, and has plenty of comfort and power for git’n down the road… more than enough power to pull the Escapade trailer! This Wing has the usual GoldWing amenities, to include a remote that locks/unlocks the saddles and trunk, plus a button to help locate your Wing (for those times when you are at a rally and parked with a bunch of other bikes). This Wing also has GPS, highway pegs for the driver AND the passenger (my wife loves these), a cup holder for each of you, a driver’s backrest, and passenger armrests. All are invaluable during long road trips.The Escapade Elite trailer was made for the GoldWing. The Elite’s looks, lights and paint really compliment those of the Wing. It also pulls nicely behind the Wing, be it riding out on the flats or through the sweeping turns of the mountains. You could almost forget that it is back there! The Elite has air-shocks that can be adjusted with a hand-pump (included), depending on the weight of the cargo. Max cargo payload is 113 lbs, with over 25 cu. ft of room; so there is plenty of capacity for all you need/want to take with you. No longer will you have to worry about washing your clothes every other day, or deciding if you have room to take along the hair dryer or not. Finally, it comes with a spare tire (for the trailer), a jack, and a lug wrench. Both the Wing and Elite come with tailored covers. Also, I installed a taller windshield on the Wing, but still have the original (will be included).
