This has a top quality industrial GENUINE KUBOTA DIESEL engine, not some cheap Chinese Yanmar clone engine you'd find on ebay for $500. The engine is extremely durable, air cooled with an OIL cooled cylinder head and will outlive any conventional motorcycle or car engine.I have averaged 90mpg on this bike the 6,000miles I have driven it. I'm 6'4" and really stick out on this small bike so a smaller/lighter rider could easily get 100+mpg on it.I am a professional DIESEL mechanic and have kept extensive records and photographs of the bike. If you want to see anything about the build process, maintenance history or fuel economy history, just ask. It comes with a few different sprocket sizes and CVT weights so you can tune the performance to meet your needs. The engine is recoil (pull) start, but I built it with the ability to bolt-on the electric starter.This thing is ready to ride and will last you many many years of use.
