See map for my general location. - $2000 FirmThis GL1100 has been my round the town commuter, weekend cruiser and long distance touring bike the past few years. I have ridden it all around Colorado and out to California and back as well. I would not hesitate to jump on this bike and ride anywhere in the country. I have never had an issue with this bike. It is absolutely reliable, starts, runs, shifts, rides and stops as it should. All lights, switches, horn, gauges and controls work as they should including the eagle's eyes lighting up on the front fender. Only reason the bike up for sale is I have had my fun with it and would now like to make room in my shop for a truck restoration I will be beginning this summer. Its time for someone else to enjoy it.*Servicing and Maintenance performed in the past 3 years / 7000 miles*I like my motorcycles to be great running and reliable, especially when I am more then 1000 miles from home. During the time I have owned it I have done every possible preventative maintenance and servicing required for a motorcycle of this age and mileage. I have a receipt record of $2500 invested since I purchased it in 2016. Below are the details.*Engine and Transmission: Top end refurbished from the block out with all new gaskets and seals including head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, front crank seal and shift seal. Timing belts replaced and valve adjustment done. Refurbished clutch with new clutch friction plates and springs. Oil change and filter this week.*Carburetors and Fuel System: Carburetors were rebuilt by Pistol Pete with a Randakk rebuild kit. This rebuild was over $500 including parts and labor. Carburetors have always been kept clean since the rebuild. Carburetors have been synced. Air filter is good. New fuel pump, filter and lines installed. The gas tank is in perfect original condition on the inside.*Cooling System: New water pump and related gaskets and seals installed. Radiator flushed. New radiator cap, hoses, thermostat, seals and gaskets related to cooling system installed.*Exhaust: New custom mufflers with crossover pipe to mimic the OEM pipe tune while allowing the engine to breathe better have been installed.*Electrical: All of the electrical system has been gone through and made sure to be in solid condition. All lights, switches and buttons work great. The battery has been kept on a tender when bike not in use and holds a charge as it should.*Suspension: Front fork seals, fluid and new Progressive fork springs installed. Excellent low miles OEM rear shocks installed with new seals and fluid. Onboard air compressor and air system has been refurbished. Both the front and rear air systems hold air perfectly.*Brakes: Complete overhaul of entire brake system with all new seals, plungers, ect in master cylinders and calipers. New front brake reservoir and seals. New brake pads front and rear.*Wheels, Tires and Drivetrain: Front tire is less then a year old in excellent condition. Rear wheel has been replaced with a low miles excellent condition wheel. Rear tire is brand new and was installed this week. Both wheels were balanced when the tires were installed. Final drive refurbished with fresh seals, grease and gear oil.*Dashboard: NEW OEM TEMPERATURE / FUEL GAUGES - I managed to acquire what will probably be the last new set of gauges ever sold for GL1100s. They work perfectly of course. Original speedometer, tachometer and dash lighting all function properly.*Other: Lots of miscellaneous servicing, maintenance, parts and custom touches all over the bike.Gold Wing GL 1100 Aspencadee Let's block ads!
