QR Code Link to This Post I am the third owner. I have had it for about a year. Got it as a project but got busy with other things. Original owner went down once and got it redone. Second owner got it to completely restore as his dream bike but got busy with other projects as well. I have had the bike looked at by Monterey Powersports and was told everything is good on the bike except it needs new brake lines, some new rubber parts/hoses that connect to the radiator, and a new water pump cover. I bought an integrated brake light but never got around to installing it. It's been kept inside a garage with a battery charger and the engine ran regularly but not ridden. This is my second motorcycle so I never really rode it other than to Monterey Powersports and back. This is a beautiful motorcycle and one of a kind. I'm very sad to see it go but need the money for a business investment. Please to email if you have any questions or would like to see it in person. In 1998, Ducati released a limited edition of the 748 called the 748L. 100 examples were built (solely in the US) and they were only available through the Neiman Marcus catalog.
