QR Code Link to This Post Start your 3-wheeled rider training “from scratch” in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation 3-Wheeled Basic RiderCourse (3WBRC) at MVCC in Utica. The 3WBRC is aimed at new riders, but experienced riders and returning riders are welcome! You’ll learn the essentials of 3-wheeled motorcycle operation on our automatic transmission 3-wheeled motorcycles (two wheels in front and one wheel in back). Each class consists of about 8 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of hands-on riding instruction over a two-day period. Riding a motorcycle is a largely mental task; we have some fun “brain game” activities to explore how your brain receives and processes information to help you be a better rider. Weekend and weekday classes are available at our Utica training sites at MVCC. Motorcycles and helmets are provided. You’ll need a car driver’s license to participate, and the course has been recognized by the DMV for a motorcycle road test waiver; successful completion earns you a 3-wheeled motorcycle road test waiver document*. Yay!Riders may participate on their own trike style 3-wheelers (one wheel in front and two in back), but the non-promotional tuition of $275 will apply. Please call our office for details. Sidecars and "sit-in" car style trikes are not permitted. Full details at our website, www.gomotorcycling.netOf course, we also offer 2-wheeled motorcycle instruction. Both the BRC (for new riders on our motorcycles) and BRC2-LW (for riders with at least one riding season under their belt on your own motorcycle) qualify for the road test waiver. How'd you like to skip the DMV road test? We can help with that. 2-wheeled training with road test waiver is available at JCC in Watertown and MVCC in Utica.See these and other course offerings at www.gomotocycling.net*Can be applied to receive a motorcycle endorsement restricted to 3-wheeled operation.
