QR Code Link to This Post Start your rider training “from scratch” in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic RiderCourse at JCC in Watertown or MVCC in Utica. This class starts with MSF’s 3-hour online eCourse that you will complete on your own before joining us for 15 hours of hands-on training (5 hours classroom/10 hours riding). The BRC is aimed at new riders, but experienced riders and returning riders are welcome! You’ll learn the essentials of motorcycle operation: controls, going, stopping, turning, swerving + strategies to minimize your risk on the street. Riding a motorcycle is a largely mental task; we have some fun “brain game” activities to explore how your brain receives and processes information. Motorcycles and helmets are provided. You’ll need a car driver’s license to participate, and the course has been recognized by the DMV for a motorcycle road test waiver.
