QR Code Link to This Post Built about 20 years ago when my son could still fit. Started with a 1936 Ford Cabriolet Fiberglass body (currently on ebay at $399.), painted pearl purple. This has the following features: ...2 push/pull switches on dash (1 runs the underbody lights, the 2nd runs the headlights and bullet tail lights - tail lights are bullet license plate style) ...Home made nerf style bumperettes that actually are the nuts that hold on the body to the frame. ...Free-Spinning purple dice shifter...gotta have something for the youngster to play with. ...Grill is chrome pin stripe tape. ...Motorcycle battery behind the pull out rear interior panel (this battery has long died, so plan on a new one) ...The exhaust holes are actually the insert points for the handle and there is a trailer hitch pin that you insert to lock it in. ...There is no steering on this car...can't let the youngster drive away!!... you simply pivot on the rear to turn. ...The car body is approximately 4' long and 24" wide. The handle is another 4' and removes so that you can transport to your favorite car show. ...Tires are inflatable on the rear and solid on the front. There are a few rock chips on the paint (see close up photos). I am flexible on the price because even though I don't really want to sell it, I can't keep everything. I am an air cooled volkswagen and gibson guitar guy, so if you have something to trade, I am open. The car is very well made by my friend Mike, who is a career hot rodder and welder. The things he has made and restored over the years are nothing short of amazing. His grandson and my son were probably some of the most photographed kids in the early 90's at local car shows.
