When we got this car it needed a little work, so we put some money into getting it running and getting it to pass smog which it did! then we parked it in our garage and only drove it about 300 miles in 2 years, this car runs great. we just don't drive it. NOT MANY MILES ON IT. It has no rust at all, the seats were professionally redone by a local couple along with the inside of the doors and the wind cover for behind the seats. The soft top is the original one it does have a tear in the window panel, but that is replaceable i think. There is also an extra side mirror (we lost one going down the road and bought another pair). The car also has the jack that came with the car along with the spare in the trunk. The tires are new. we also replaced a head light. and a brake line that was smashed at some point in time. Yes the brakes work great. The only motor part that didn't come with the car was the rebuilt zenith stromburg carburetor, but it is the same type as the one that was in the car, that one didn't work and was missing parts so we paid about $500 for a rebuilt one from San Diego at a mg shop. The paint job is good but could be better, i think the car was painted at some point it might have been blue in the beginning.
