This is a Shiras Moose they are a great species and this hide was painstakingly tanned in a method to keep the hair on the hide for decorative purpose. This is 75" long at longest by 55" at widest and over 2" thick as the hair is very dense. This is a large item and quite heavy.Largest one for sale!I purchased this for over $1200 and no longer have any need for it and really want it gone. So now my loss is your gain and hurry to snatch this up quick as these are prized for many uses from decoration to their hair being perfect for tying flys if bought for that you would have enough to tie flies for the rest of your life and many to come. If bought for decorative purposes it will be a great hanging or rug whatever you can think of. As good as new as can be given that it is tanned hide.
