QR Code Link to This Post 2009 Piaggio MP3 250 for sale! These scooters are super cool and kinda rare. The 2 wheels up front provide a very stable ride, especially when rode conditions are sketchy. Piaggio owns Vespa, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Gilera, and Derby so they know a thing or two about scooters. The MP3 is simple "gas & go" operation. The only controls are the right hand twist grip throttle and front and rear brake levers on the handlebars. There are no foot pedals or levers. The clutch and transmission are completely automatic. There are disc brakes on all 3 wheels. The front wheels are completely independent and allow you to lean into turns like a normal motorcycle. The front end can only be 'locked up' when parked so it will NOT hold you up when riding. The 250 engine is fuel injected and has enough power to get you to 70 mph. The underseat storage is quite generous and can hold several tennis racquets and a helmet. Mileage on this scooter is only 5400 and I'm asking $2900.
