Unfortunately (for me), my fiancee and I are moving at the end of January, and I had to spend the weekends that I had set aside to work on it taking care of a sick family member. The truck came to Maine from Minnesota in the fall, so it does not currently have a sticker. I had it inspected at VIP in Old Town in November, and it needs a couple things for a sticker. I have the report from them that will go with the truck. Four issues were noted on the inspection report:1. Needs front tires. (I agree; it certainly does). 2. Front and rear brake lines rotted, one rear brake hose is rotted. (I already replaced some of the rear line. ALL FOUR new brake hoses are in the truck, ready to be installed.) 3. Muffler leaks. (I died *some* sealing with muffler seal. It improved, but it really should be replaced. I am happy to throw in a couple more tubes of muffler sealant if you want to try to patch it up.) 4. Rear spring shackles are rotted. (Yes. The replacements are in the trunk, ready to be installed.)The one other thing I know about in the truck is that the handle on the drivers seat that adjusts back angle is broken; has been for awhile. I never needed to change it, but I have the replacement part that will go with the sale. It is a 20 year old vehicle, so paint isn't perfect, upholstery isn't perfect, and such things but for its age, it's definitely in decent cosmetic shape. I have some color match spray paint that I'll include as well. Now for the good, if you read this far.Engine runs great. Transmission works properly. Have never had any issues with either. I was going to do a standard tune-up, so new plugs, wires, and some filters are in the truck, ready to be installed. The 4WD, including the dash-mounted electric selector, works perfectly. The frame certainly has some surface rust, but it is solid (save for the shackles, as noted above) according to VIP. The truck basically has new brakes all around. I installed new front brakes and hubs for my father about 3,000 miles ago. I just installed all new rear brakes (new calipers, rotors, pads AND new emergency brake shoes with all new hardware). I also installed a new brake master cylinder and reservoir. I just put in a new battery. I am offering the truck, with all of the replacement parts in it, for well below the Kelley Blue Book value. This is a solid truck for anyone that can do the minor repairs needed. I would consider trades or partial trades for a large ATV, certain pieces of industrial woodworking equipment, a reliable Japanese motorcycle in the 550cc size range, or large (90+cc) Stihl or Husqvarna chainsaws.
