QR Code Link to This Post 1983 honda CB1100FThis motorcycle is a somewhat rare and collectible bike. The value will only increase as it ages. It was recorded as the fastest stock bike of its time. I bought this bike with the idea of doing a cafe project but the more I learned about this bike, and how collectible they are, I think it would be wrong to do anything but restore it to its original glory. But because its not really what I am looking for in a project, I've decided to sell it. Hopefully to someone who will appreciate its history.It was running a few weeks ago but the starter clutch started slipping so it wont start. If I keep it through the winter, I will do the R6 starter clutch upgrade. Recently changed the oil, and filter. Went through the carbs as well. Sadly, the previous owner painted it black. If I keep it through winter I will paint it to its original red white and black stripes. It also has a couple signs of it being dropped... dent on the tank, scuffed up plastic etc. nothing too bad though. Easily fixable.These bikes in pristine shape go for $7-10k. I know this one isn't pristine, but is a great start for a restoration project. That being said I'm asking $3000 obo.
