QR Code Link to This Post TRADE OR PURCHASE: Bike is both for sale or trade. Trading for another sportbike. Perhaps you're looking to get a different bike for your wife/friend to learn on. Maybe you scared yourself playing around on a GSXR600. Whatever you got, hit me up. Looking for inline fours 600+ CC. If the bike is in good enough condition, or is 1000cc I will provide cash on my end. If you're wanting to flat out purchase the bike I'm listing it at $1800 OBO due to its condition and a couple mods/new tires. GENERAL INFO: 2004 Suzuki GSX500F - 25,xxx miles - maintenance on schedule - frequently lubed/adjusted chain - experienced rider / never raced/track. I am the second owner of the bike, but I have put most of the mileage on it. She's in decent condition cosmetically (a couple blemishes, nothing major.). I have never dropped/crashed it, but it's clear the previous owner dropped it on it's right side perhaps while moving it in the garage or something, nothing major, but visible if you look carefully. Nothing wrong internally, however it leaks a small amount of gas sometimes, but it doesn't affect performance, brand new chain and front/rear sprockets. Recent oil change 1k miles ago. Newer tires installed recently. Only thing it may need is a new battery in the near future. (Starting to lose charge)BIKE INFO: Suzuki GSX500s are made to be the midground between smaller starter sportbikes (such as Ninja 250s) and more intense inline four racebikes (such as a ZX6r or R6). This, in my opinion, is the best starter/newer rider bike there is. It is very forgiving, but when you want it to be, it's plenty of fun and gets you to illegal speeds rather quickly. It gets good gas mileage (I get about 55MPG.) and I could probably get better if I short shifted. My bike is the sport bike version of the Suzuki GS500, hence the fairings and slightly different name. They are renowned as the best used motorcycle money can buy on a handful of websites I've seen (which is why I bought it to begin with.). Lastly, these bikes are stupid easy to work on. With basic mechanic knowledge you can solve pretty much any issue. Two carbs, two valves per cylinder. Questions? Want more info/pictures? Interested in trade or purchase?
