QR Code Link to This Post This 2003 Yamaha R6 has "44917"miles on the OD but is mechanical sound and runs without any issues. This has been my daily rider for the past 3 years. The guy before me put on a new chain and set of different sprockets on the bike at 24k and the speedo was never recalibrated so thats why there is such high miles. Id say there is around ~35k miles on this bike. I love this bike and the only reason I am selling it is because I moved to the Chicago and a motorcycle wouldn't be good in the winter. It has had the oil regularly changed every season, even though I wouldn't put that many miles on it each year. The fairings are in "good" condition, there is a couple screws missing and the top right cowl is broken at the screw points but it still stays on the bike. A new set for each side pieces are $50-$75 so I never bothered to get new ones. I personally have never dropped this bike. I also installed BK moto devil eyes and ran a switch to allow you to ride with only them on and no running light, allowing for the ultimate look. The running light can easily be turned on with the flip of a switch if you happen to be riding at night. I also have super bright LED's installed on the bike, but due to the big back of the bulb I could not use the factory piece to close off the back of the headlights so its covered with electrical tape and has worked out perfect thus far. I modified the mount for the exhaust to fit on the shorty Two-Brothers Black Series exhaust, which sounds killer and it also has a power-commander III on the bike with a tune. This bike really does not need anything done to it. It also comes with a BRAND NEW used front rim with a brand new tire on it.This bike has been maintained and repaired by a Yamaha dealer at the same time the chain was put on, I had all of the paperwork but sadly had some juice spill over my important documents and it ruined the packet of paperwork. I can point out and tell you everything in person that was done, all the basic needed maintenance was preformed on this bike allowing it to go as long as it stays up on its wheels. For example a new head gasket, new injectors, fork seals, and much more. This bike has been nothing but reliable to me, and I am sure it will do just that for the next buyer.
