Antique Swords trade for motorcycle or car. (Mattoon) $3000

QR Code Link to This Post I have a collection of three antique swords for sale. The first one (top in group picture) is an authentic 1860 Light Cavalry Saber from the U.S. Civil War. Manufacturer is Ames. Sword is in very collectible shape. Does have patina, but still looks great hanging on the wall. Most of the wire is gone, but some still remains. Handle is a tad bit loose, and it's loose in the scabbard. Markings of U.S. And 186- visible on the blade. The markings on the other side say "Ames Mfg co Chicopee Mass". Has been sharpened in the past by a previous owner. This sword has seen a lot in its day. I wish it could talk. (pics 3,4 & 5)The next swords is a model 1833 Dragoon Saber made by Walscheid in Solingen. This one is in remarkable shape. It's all there, from the shark skin wrapped grip, to the wire, to the original scabbard. This sword would serve well in battle today. Has a gold emblem stamped into the blade that says "Proved" on it. My personal favorite sword ever. (Pics 6,7 & 8)The third and final sword is a German made 1872 cavalry saber. Has a dent in the scabbard, a few slight bends at the end of the blade, and the handle is a tad bit loose, but it's a beautiful representation. The leather is in good shape, all the wire is there, and the blade still has shine to it. I haven't been able to identify the maker of this sword, but I confess, I haven't really tried to. I just loved having it hanging on my wall. (pics 9 & 10)I have not sharpened, polished, waxed, wire brushed, sanded, acid dipped, or any other type of trick to make these swords look newer or in any better condition than they were in when I bought them. They have been hanging on the wall next to my desk for years. If I can't get what I want out of them, they will continue to do just that. I do not need to sell these, so I will not accept any low-ball offers. Will trade for the right motorcycle. No 250's, no Chinese bikes, no basket cases or pieces of shit. Must be a decent, road-worthy street bike. Sportsters welcome. (as long as they're 1200cc) Cafe racers, etc. Car, truck, whatever. Just must be safe and reliable. Here's your chance to own a little bit of history. No PayPal No scammers. I DO NOT NEED HELP SELLING!!!!!!!!! Other pics available upon request, just email me and ask. Email only. I work a lot and don't need my phone going crazy in front of the boss. But rest assured, I'm really good about replying to emails. Unless you're annoying. Don't be annoying.
