QR Code Link to This Post 1920's Ludwig Commodore Plectrum Banjo.It has it's fair share of scratches, knicks, bumps and bruises, but no cracks or structural damage going on here. This banjo is solid! It is very loud and resonates well. Overall playability is pretty good but this old instrument could always use some TLC. The ebony frets are in good shape, but there are some divots on the high string side {pictured} It has all the lugs, optional armrest and Elton scratch plate, and I'll be including a Kent pickup although, I'm not sure how the pickup works. This banjo even has the original calfskin head and mother of pearl and gold Planet tuning pegs. Lots of ornate carvings and inlays, plus real mother of peal, everywhere. Truly a historical piece, but still a player. I'd like to get $1,250 out of this historic gem, or I might trade for other higher end/vintage/rare guitars. Anyone have a nice Gibson SG for trades? I may also consider a trade for a nice van or Honda motorcycle with title and no problems. Call or text if you want to work something out.
