Ground breaking bike that was the fastest off the showroom floor production bike when new, and Tom Cruise rode this bike in the movie TOP GUN. The bike has been in my house for two years unused due to a back injury. The bike is not in running condition. It ran fine when parked, but now it will not do anything when the key is turned to the on position with a good battery. I'm not sure if there is a main fuse that needs to be replaced or a solenoid that has gone bad. The bike has new tires on it, a perfect Corbin seat, Vance and Hines header, shows 32K on the odometer. The previous owner dropped the bike on the left side at low speed making a left turn at a red light when he hit a patch of oil in the street. The fairing hit and pushed up against the tank causing a dent crease in the tank. It's not very noticeable, but it's there. The starter clutch was repaired, which is the weak link in the 900R motor. These bikes are going up in value due to collectors picking them up. I will remove the ad when the bike is sold.
