I use this bike mostly for bike-packing trips in the mountains and have never ridden a bike more confident, capable, and reliable in these environments. I am 6', and about 200 lb and this bike is the perfect size for me. It is not a YZ, it is geared and stanced for predictable control on tough terrain and tons of low end torque. Last fall I had the carb completely rebuilt, new cables ran, and other basic maintenance. This was all done by North Star Motors, the local carb/classic bike expert. Total service came to over $900.This is an extremely attractive motorcycle and only gets more attractive with age. The internet is full of excellent reviews so definitely google "Yamaha tt250" and take a look at what others say.
