The seat was taken off of the bike when it was new, in 2003. It had been boxed and put away until a few months ago. At that time, I removed an aftermarket seat that had been being used and reinstalled the original Honda factory seat and passenger backrest. The bike starts, idles, runs and shifts like a new motorcycle. It has near 118k miles, which is nothing for these bikes. This engine is in like-new condition. The tires are Dunlop Elite 3 and in very good condition as well.The brakes work perfectly and need nothing. The hydraulic clutch works perfectly. The front and rear shocks hold air and oil and need nothing. The windshield is not scratched up and it looks great. This bike has been extremely well taken care of and it shows. There are no oil, fuel, or antifreeze leaks of any kind. The bike is always bone dry under it where it is kept in my garage. There would be zero hesitation to get on it tomorrow and go on an across-country ride. I have ridden and collected motorcycles for 59 years.
