Might trade for Ford coupe 3 or 5 window or heavy equipment semi. must be worth $23000 Ready to see it go. It was a project car from Florida with little to no rust. Runs and drives as it should. This is a complete, numbers matching, and older restoration. The complete chassis and interior have all been re-undercoated and has yet to see any road dust. Although along the bottoms of both fenders their is rust, and an exhaust pipe needs to be installed after the manifolds. It's never seen a winter, and just needs someone to finally finish her and go for a cruise. This car may need a paint job soon however it is a 95% structurally solid car that is about ready to drive for the summer. ne of the rarest and most collectible Triumphs is the TR250. These combine the classic Giovanni Michelotti design of the TR4 with six cylinder power and independent rear suspension of the TR6. To many collectors, the TR250 (called TR5 in the U.K.) represents the high point of Triumph sports cars. Unfortunately, these cars were prone to rust, particularly in the rear section of the frame. As time goes on, it becomes more difficult to find a good solid car like the one here. The body is very straight and solid. The frame is in great shape without any rust issues as evidenced by the photos. Since these photos were taken, our shop has undertaken correcting a few cosmetic faults. We've sandblasted and painted the hood on top and bottom. We're detailing and painting the engine bay. We'll be painting the original silver TR250 fender and hood stripes as well. A small paint chip on the boot lid will also be addressed. The improvements are nearing completion and we'll be posting new photos soon. In the interior, we're replacing the lower dash pad below the instruments as the current one has a gouge visible in the photos We're also installing a new steering wheel. Otherwise, interior is quite decent overall with seats, carpets, and door panels all in good order. The dash wood is in very nice shape with no delamination as is often the case. The top is a correct canvas top and in good shape. Mechanically, the is equipped currently with two Weber downdraft carburetors but we're replacing those with a pair of rebuilt original Strombergs. If the buyer prefers, we'll include the dual Weber setup. The brightwork remains presentable as well. Both front and rear bumpers are straight and shiny. The front fender marker light chrome is good and while the taillight housings have some very light pitting on the chrome. This car runs strongly, with no smoke, very good oil pressure, normal temp range, and good brakes and steering. All the electrical works as it should. Overall, this car will make a fun driver that you can enjoy from the outset with no work needed. *** Update as of 5/21 the thermostat was installed, unfortunately the car has a clogged radiator. I was told there is a radiator flush available that should fix this issue. Going to buy a bottle of it this weekend and run it for an hour and a half and then flush the radiator and refill it with new fluid. I also added Sea Foam to the oil. Going to need to be run for awhile after the radiator issue is resolved to address the gummed up lifters. I have Lucas Carb cleaner - its available to be added after the radiator issue is resolved also. I am also buying 8 new spark plugs as the ones presently in it seem old - the vehicle may have sat for awhile. Lastly the Master Cylinder may need replacing along with checking break calipers. The master is around $33.00 - I'm not doing that work as of yet. If I have to do all of this work then the car will be totally sound and I will have to raise the price. All your info is in front of you to make a sound and wise purchase. I have nothing to hide. I got this from a friend who " needed the money/his wife wanted the money" - I was doing him a favor. ***** Calls only to weed spammers down or out. Testers will be ignored. As you can see its in great shape . Check out this fun ready for the season Beetle! This little 12V convertible bug is pretty original, which is what I like most about it. It is rust-free; the floor pan is new, and the running boards are original. The paint is mostly original Yukon Yellow with some paint work on the fenders and some minor touch-up. Top is great and the interior is even better. The glass is in good condition as well as the brakes, the tires and the great looking Empi wheels are new. I also have shown the stock wheels which are available. It runs great with no weird noises or smoke; it starts right up, has plenty of VW bug power, transmission shifts great, the clutch is strong, and the exhaust has a slight tune to it. The tools, jack, boot and spare are there. This car is in a "get-in-and-go" condition. For 1967, the Volkswagen Beetle received a slight boost in power. The horizontally opposed, overhead-cylinder engine displaced 91.1 cubic-inches and offered 53 horsepower. It had a four-speed manual transmission and hydraulic drum brakes in both the front and rear. Other changes for 1967 included backup lights, the parking lamps became part of the turn signals, and the glass headlamp covers were no longer installed. The doors were lockable, two-speed windshield wipers were added, and a 12-volt electrical system was installed.Whalen Auction Bldg, 8020 Manore Rd., Neapolis, OH (gps use Grand Rapids OH 43522) Exit 63 off St. Rt 24 to West on St Rt 64 towards Whitehouse, turn South on Finzel Rd. to dead end into Neapolis-Waterville Rd., turn right (west) to corner of Manore.
