So whoever buys the car gets that value & that is part of the reason that the car is for sale at a higher price compared to the condition of the under body. The new wider exhaust is stainless steel & all one piece. The steel connections were cut off & stainless steel welds now connect three pieces into one. Plus the exhaust is straighter compared to a normal one with the rear spare tire holder & part of the back bumper of the car trimmed out, flattening the back storage trunk floor area of the car like the Eclipse in the first Fast & The Furious movie, with aluminum/carbon fiber. The muffler has a dent that needs to be pulled out now, & the O2 sensor could be switched out. When the silencer is unbolted from inside the muffler, the exhaust gases go faster and gives the turbo more power and the car will noticeably go faster, but is also louder. The front brakes were updated to a Wilwood big brake kit, ($1200+) & the bolts in the calipers were upgraded to titanium bolts from Mettec. As well as were ALL the bolts that hold the brake disc hats onto the disk rotors. Chevrolet wheelchair lift equipped van/minibus for sale with just 126,000 miles. Clean title. This truck was built by Jared Adame out of San Diego California by a Race Shop for the Baja 1000. It was originally built to be a race truck however when almost completed he found another chassis that just needed a power plant. This truck was then converted to a chase truck. This truck is built with all custom fabrication and there are no kit parts on the truck. Everything was custom built from bumper to bumper. I purchased this truck last year and went through everything on the truck to ensure all was working properly from front to rear. I replaced everything that had any wear on it and performed a full service on everything. This truck is tough and will go anywhere. Not negotiable. beautiful car Search for this van on Ebay. Bidding ends on May 17th! This is Delilah, my stormtrooper van from Japan. I've had her since mid January and have enjoyed taking her on a few road trips. The van does great on the snow, mud and uneven surfaces with its four wheel drive and new tires. The manual transmission is low geared so it can climb hills and mountain passes like a champion! On the highway, it cruises well at 65 mph (100kph). She's no speed racer but she'll bring you wherever you want to go. This van is the best and most simple camping rig you could ask for with its multitude of seat functions. 8 passengers or a bed for 3, it's up to you. Staying organized by using the under-seat and behind-front-row storage areas is easy with simple duffle bags and low-profile stow boxes. Its served me well and is now free of mechanical and electrical issues. Now it's your turn to take Delilah on her next advanture. * Video ad here: YouTube search "Rondo Van Man" *Insta: #VanLifeSunValley *ADDED RECENTLY: More pictures This is a perfect start to your dream camper van for long road trips, living on the road or the casual weekend trip with the family. It's 4 wheel drive system allows the driver to handle slick and uneven surfaces with ease. It's body style and capabilities were designed around the 4x4 chassis of the Mitsubishi Pajero, which is a respected offroad SUV, available outside of the US. With these vehicles becoming more popular, parts for maintenance and aftermarket upgrades are becoming more easily accessible. Snorkels, block heaters, lift kits and locking differentials are all available through a multitude of distributors. The right hand drive (RHD) steering adds a unique aspect to your driving experience which can take a moment to get used to. Make sure to hug the shoulder of the road while driving and check the blind spot on the right hand side of the van. Most vehicles of this style and function, such as the VW Vanagon Westfalia Syncro, Sprinter 4x4, Sportsmobile and Chevy AWD van, have either cooling system issues, low gas mileage, costly custom upgrades and may be too large for certain backroad access. Straight from the factory, the Delica is the best choice for its mechanical dependability, fuel efficient money saving capability and offroad reliability.4 inch narrowed beam 3 1/2 inch flipped spindles (wagenswest) 64-67 beam with new link and center pins 4 wheel disc brakes (wagenswest) Dual master cyl (wagens west) New steering box and tie rods Freeway flier type one trans with mid mount Drop plates 15 inch empi raiders with good rubber 3 spoke style steering wheel Front and back safaris Front bumper is OG. Sound deadening throughout All the locks and ignition match one key This is by far the best driving bus I've ever had. It drives straight, stops straight and hard, handles bumps tightly. It will cruise on the freeway around 70 with easy at around 3000 rpm. Will go 75 and faster no problem. Very little play in the wheel and shifts smoothly. There's been a lot of time and money buried into the undercarriage on this thing and it drives accordingly. The motor revs quick and cleanly and honestly it feels like a bigger motor than the 1776. The body on this bus is pretty solid and straight. The frame is solid. There are a few rust issues that I can see need addressed: Cargo door side rocker needs replacing. The first few inches of the cargo door side of the floor need replacing. The very bottom of the front doors as some perforations that can only be seen if you look under the door. The very bottom of the cargo door inner structures have some rust issues. Can't really get full picture of the front floor since the mat is glued down. But, looking underneath it looks pretty solid. And the rear wheel wells have been replaced at some point and were done poorly so this need to be redone on both sides. I will post and have plenty of pictures of the problem areas. The 58 only decklid is rust free and straight, but the key hole looks like it was opened with a can opener lol. Overall it's a very solid bus with what I believe is minimal rust issues compared to some of the buses that are for sale lately. Can deliver it to areas 500 miles of Las Vegas with a small non refundable deposit. This bus is priced fair and is a really fun driving bus and isn't going down in value. You can text me and I will send you lots of pictures. Thanks! Side note: I did not build this bus I bought it pretty much how you see it. I got the information about the parts included in the build and in any information about the build from the previous owner. But from everything I can see it looks exactly like described. Please The turbo V4 engine is stock with different heat shielding over the headers. Much of the cooling system pipes were just re-done very well, but a further back leak on the driver side is the main second issue with the car. NEW & NEW A new clutch assembly and used transfer case were put in less than 3000 miles ago. ($1513.09) New back axels were put in days after $1,177.00 BIG UPGRADE The wheels are 18 inch OZ rims, with all four having winter tires now (2017 new rears) on with lots of tread depth. Totaling about $2048.00 when first purchased from TireRack.com in 2008 (other tires) ALONG WITH ANOTHER The lug nuts (20) are titanium racing lug nuts, that cost $526 from Canada. One was lost by the shop that put in the new back axels, and it does not look like those lug nuts can be found again. So a titanium motorcycle lug nut took the missing one's place. One of the windshield wiper arms was fabricated by me out of titanium. The spring tension is almost right, but might need to go tighter. The windshield wipers sprayers work, however, I have removed the windshield wiper fluid tank to make the floor flat in back for the exhaust to come through. Despite my wide spread actions and investments to guard it from winter, with non-rusting bolts and materials, owning a pressure washer eventually, and making use of a heated garage, winter snow and road salt has still affected the car more than planned. Under the plastic body work, the car has worn away. So this car may be best for someone wishing to repair body panels and frame, or to use to improve their own GSX. Long winters here caused issues, so a new climate will be a lasting improvement. Currently, there are wood blocks, screws, carbon fiber panels, bolts in newly drilled & threaded holes, & shoelaces holding the lower side fairings in place. The two stainless steel screws you see in the plastic fairings behind each of the doors, are screwed into the metal of the body of the car. The deterioration of some of the steel parts of this car, is why I recommend the buyer of this car either be okay to re-fabricate some of this car, or use it and the parts it has for their Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. There are many vital functioning parts to this car doing great or renewed. The engine has done very well along with the drivetrain. I changed the oil often within about 3500 miles, and use other additives to reduce friction. Plus it has a titanium oil plug with a magnet to remove contaminants. The seat belts have been redone to be more like a harness and the adjustments are redone in titanium and stainless steel. Better visibility. Longer to adjust fitment. The passenger chair is actually from a VW Passat, & bolts into the floor rather than bolts coming up from the floor that the chair then set into like stock. This allowed me to have a more flat passenger side for hauling things. The car battery is now an Optima yellow top and mounted inside the car at the passenger's feet, this was done to keep it from winter weather. It would be best to check the connection again or reinstall the battery to the engine bay with the more direct connection still in the original place. The glove box security plate, and knee impact zone was redone with carbon fiber instead of steel. Around the steering wheel, floor petals, the stick shift and in the dashboard, nuts and bolts have as well been replaced with titanium versions. The stereo has bluetooth, and also a corded input to play through the speakers with a phone, MP3 player, etc. The speakers were up graded. In the doors, carbon fiber forms I made hold smaller, but nicer speakers than stock, and tweeters were installed into the triangle pieces of interior plastic by each sides' feet area will. The speakers above on the dashboard by the windshield I do not think ever worked. The speakers by the back passengers get loud, but start to get distortion at real loud volumes. I have opened up the door panel many times and exchanged the bolts and nuts to titanium, and redone the plastic barrier that used to have sticky tar. Sticky tar all gone now. The car has aftermarket keyless entry remote's, as well as remote start of the engine on the remote too. The car would have to be turned off a certain way to use this function on the next start, and likely be in neutral and with the E break engaged. The brake lever is in good shape, however, the E brake components at the rear wheels are no longer there. A vehicle backed into the side of my car when it was parked, so the carbon fiber on the back driver side behind the door was to make the impact area the proper shape again. The gas tank cover has been redone out of aluminum along with a magnet. And the carbon fiber zone underneath the gas tank lid and above the wheel, was to patch up the metal that was deteriorating from exposure to gas and water the wheels had thrown at it. The hood came up once and cracked the lower windshield. So by the hinges of the hood has some dents, but thankfully I do not notice the lower windshield or hood hinge ripples much. The back center brake light in the back window was replaced with a red LED strip to make the brake light like a Tesla Model S's. The back interior plastic molding needed to be trimmed as well for the floor to be flat aluminum in back for the exhaust to come straight through. MAIN REASON FOR SELLING NOW. BAD BUT NEW PART PURCHASED The frame of the car & underside is the main issue. The crossmember or subframe in back that links the suspension arms needs to be changed out (since there is a crack where one of the suspension arms mount) I have bought another one, it is pictured in the trunk area. I drive the car once in a while, but otherwise, have been leaving it in place till fixed. I coated the new subframe in POR15 rust preventor so it can last a long time. But someone would need to do the work to change it out, it is a larger project than I can manage with my time and space. Behind the license plate there is one of the best carbon fiber pieces I made, that the license plate bolts into and that holds the license plate lights. The bars that hold the bumper to the frame, were redone out of aluminum, and like so much of the rest the car are held in place by titanium bolts and washers and nuts.
