QR Code Link to This Post I bought this from the orginal owner, a neighbor of mine. It has 12,xxx miles and is in very good condition. Carbs were recently cleaned. It comes with a full set of luggage. I bought it to make into a cafe bike, but frankly it is just to good to hack up. I would suggest that this bike would make a fantastic daily rider and would easily restore to your idea of perfection . It has been well maintained and stored inside it's entire life. It's not perfect but it is an excellent example of its type. Paint and chrome are very good. It cruises nicely at highway speeds. It is cold blooded, and the clutch could use an adjustment. The tires and brakes are good. Seat is by Saddleman. I am the 2nd owner of this bike. nothing wrong with this wing. we have too many motorcycles, and definitely don't need two gl1800s OBO We bought this bike from the family of the original owner. For it's age it is in great condition. Original owners took great care and maintained very well. The bike is mechanically sound. Engine runs well and shifts through all gears with ease. All of the paint on the bike is still looks good but does have slight ware on the fairing plastic. Engine and frame are all clean and in great condition. Seat is like new and all of the lights, indicators, radio, speakers, and controls work as they should. When I bought the bike it had been stored for a few years and needed to be brought back to current on fluids etc. The tank was removed and cleaned. Petcock removed, disassembled and cleaned. New battery, spark plugs, engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, and air filter. Final drive oil drained, flushed and new fluid and set to correct torque. Also flushed rear brake system and new fluid. Front and rear brakes bled and are solid. Cooling system flushed and refilled. Also replaced starter relay. Tires are in decent shape but may want to replace if you plan on making it a daily driver. The carbs seem to be adjusted well as it starts on first revolution and idles very well even at low RPMs. I have taken this bike on several 100+ mile trips and would not be afraid to take anywhere. The bike also comes with a full shop manual and a parts and service manual. I do have all of the luggage racks compartments and trunk but did not reinstall after working on it.
