Margaritaville Vacation Club Wyndham Rio Mar Celebrates Reopening

We invite guests to come enjoy a spectacular vacation and be a part of the revitalized island experience.”The Wyndham Extra Holidays property, (which is a part of Wyndham Vacation Ownership), is located within the 500-acre Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort. It includes three beachfront pools, miles of hiking, biking and jogging trails, beach volleyball, two championship golf courses, tennis, a fitness center, watersport rentals and more.Accommodations include studio, one- and three-bedroom resort suites that sleep two to ten guests. Rooms range in size from 420 to 2,090 square feet and have full kitchens or kitchenettes and separate dining and living areas. There’s also WiFi in every suite.The refreshed resort also includes an improved poolside bar and restaurants. Among them, Marbella’s, which offers American and Caribbean breakfast favorites in a newly renovated $1.2 million space featuring a soaring wall of windows with stunning views of a colorful garden and the azure ocean.READ MORE: Puerto Rico Takes Another Step ForwardAn expanded tiki hut restaurant, slated to open in May, will accommodate more than 40 guests and offer a variety of food including fresh salads, sandwiches, and beverages.The resort’s lobby has also undergone a $1 million transformation into a Caicu Rum Bar featuring signature rum-based cocktails and light bites.Those who’d like a sneak peek of the renovated resort can get one via the property’s live webcam.Guests who book reservations by March 31 will receive 20 percent off room rates. A minimum two-night stay is required.
