QR Code Link to This Post 1984 Harley Davidson FXRDG Disc Glide for sale. This bike was a one year only Willie G. creation. Only 863 of these were sold *worldwide*; it is not known how many survive in original condition, but I would guess not many. The bike is built on the FXR framework, largely considered by many bikers to be the best motorcycle that Harley Davidson ever built. They called it a disc glide because of the aluminum disc rear wheel. This bike had several firsts:--One off factory custom long before the CVO bikes --First year for the Evolution motor. --First time that Harley sold a bike that had all of the aluminum covers chrome plated. --Harley used a new process to paint the burgundy/black colors, and pin striping done by hand --Aluminum disc rear wheel.Bike looks awesome and runs awesome. New Dunlop on the rear, newer Dunlop on the front.
