It originally retailed for about $16K. So I am regrettably giving up on my bike. I owned it for a year, one rough year. I am an admittedly very unskilled motorcycle driver. It became embarrassingly apparent within the first 30 days I owned it. I bought it used from the original 1st owner. It had 2900 miles on it when I bought it. On my 3rd or 4th ride it threw me over the handlebars by accelerating too hard in first gear in a low speed single accident on a private driveway. It resulted in broken plastics, broken front brake lever, and peg. Also there was a tiny bit of road rash on the frame about the size of my index fingernail. I wanted to keep riding it. I fixed all the problems and kept a few cosmetic issues with scuffs on the plastics and kept riding most of 2017. On my last ride on November 13th 2017 I pulled up to a gas pump and thought the kickstand was down fully but it wasn't and the kickstand rolled back up into the up position and down I went. I was pinned under the bike and had to get help to get out from underneath it. I tore up the front plastic fairing that time and snapped off the clutch handle and damaged the left side peg (snapped off the ?grinder? stub thing at the end). I decided enough was enough and I was through. I had the bike professionally towed home on a flatbed tow truck and it has been stored inside my large utility building since. *****MY GOAL IN LISTING THIS IS TO HAVE FULL DISCLOSURE. WHEN I HAD MY FIRST LOW SPEED ACCIDENT ON THIS BIKE IN EARLY 2017 RIGHT AFTER I BOUGHT IT THE TINY BIT OF ROAD RASH MENTIONED ABOVE RESULTED IN MY INSURANCE COMPANY TOTALING THE BIKE. THEY OFFERED ME THE OPTION OF BUYING IT BACK WHICH I DID AND I CONTINUED TO RIDE IT THE REST OF THE YEAR UNTIL THE INCIDENT AT THE GAS PUMP I ALSO MENTIONED ABOVE THAT FINALLY RESULTED IN ME GIVING UP RIDING. I HAVE A REGULAR CLEAR TITLE FOR THE BIKE. I WENT TO THE LOCAL D.M.V. TODAY AND HAD THEM CHECK THE VIN AND THEY TOLD ME IT IS NOT MARKED AS SALVAGE AND THE TITLE IS CLEAR. HOWEVER, THERE MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH PUTTING FULL COVERAGE ON THE BIKE IN THE FUTURE SINCE PROGRESSIVE ALREADY PAID ME A FULL COVERAGE PAYOUT IN EARLY 2017. IN OTHER WORDS AS FAR AS STATES ARE CONCERNED THE TITLE SHOUDL BE NO ISSUE AT ALL. AS FAR AS INSURING IT FOR FULL COVERAGE, THAT MAY BE ANOTHER ISSUE ENTIRELY.*****So, as it sits both side plastic fairings have significant issues. One side has cracks. The other side has a broken off mounting bracket, and they might could be repaired if you're good with plastic but would most likely need to be replaced or just rode naked (which I have done towards the end). Also the front plastic fairing is significantly cracked. There is a small area of shallow road rash on the end of the front fork on the right hand side. There is also a bit of paint scraped off of the crankcase on the left side from the last drop from a stop at the gas stop I mentioned. Also on a ride in October one of the hard plastic luggage panniers flew away to an undisclosed location. I never could find it. I have one and it is in good shape and you can find replacements on eBay right now for $200-$300. (I've even seen a whole set including the optional trunk go for about $600) The headlights (super nice HID's) are just fine. The front left driver peg is damaged as I mentioned and the right one is not OEM but fine. The clutch handle is snapped off but I have a replacement from eBay (OEM original part) still in the shipping wrapper and I can install it or include it. Once on it would run and drive. It starts right up. I verified that and ran it in place for quite some time today. The only modification is aftermarket LED rear turn signals. I have all the damaged and undamaged bits of plastic and bolts for them as well. I could put them back on but they are not perfect and don't stay perfectly flush. The tires have probably about 40% left. The battery works but it's pretty weak. Mechanically it's sound. I put new Mobil-1 oil and a K&N oil filter on it at the start of last year. I also have three Triumph jackets (one summer, one with a cool riding liner, and one leather) as well as a Triumph tank bag, and the owner's manual. It has a retail value on NADA guide of $4500. Considering the cosmetic damages I am willing to take $2499 for it. It's a ridiculously high powered bike and way too much power for me. It's fast. Too fast. This thing produces 125bhp. Ridiculous. If you want a big fast bike for cheap, have at it. This is it. I have tried to be as thorough as possible and disclose everything about this bike during it's entire ownership by me. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have and I can take additional pictures or provide any information you wish.
