QR Code Link to This Post "NO TEXT MESSAGES"!!! "LIVE CALLS ONLY"! 8:30am to 9:00pmThis is a 1994 Honda CBR1000F with ONLY 8,500 original miles on it! You'll not believe it's a 24 year old motorcycle. This was a one "adult"owner motorcycle until last year when I purchased it. Probably the finest example of a BIG BORE CBR1000F of that era as you will find ANYWHERE!!! Always stored indoors. This condition would put in the class of something a collector would be looking for. Price is indicative of condition, mileage & collectability. All stock and what would truly be described as "unmolested"! No one's removed the stock exhaust and replaced w/a "4 into 1 system". The factory turn signals have not been replaced with "flush mounts". The rear fender has not been shaved, cut or been modified in any manner which is popular with these bikes. Stock windscreen. All original paint and plastics...in EXCELLENT condition. NO DOWN DAMAGE! NO GARAGE TIP-OVERS! NO DENTS/DINGS! NO BELT BUCKLE SCRATCHES ON TANK! NO CRACKS! EXCELLENT SEAT CONDITION! PERFECT PAINT! INSIDE TANK CLEAN! "NO DISAPPOINTMENTS"!The only changes from stock are: (1) New Michelin Pilot Tires/Front & Rear (2) New Gel Battery (3) New NGK Spark Plugs (4) Oil & Filter changed (5) New K&N Air Filter (6) Radiator/Cooling System Flushed & Filled...using a non-Silicate & non-Borate coolant (7) Usage of non-Ethanol gasHonda made this first generation of CBR1000F's from 1987 until 1997...first calling them "Hurricanes" and dropping the name to only "CBR1000F". A Big Bore 998cc...In-Line/Water Cooled/4 Cylinder/Twin Cam motor...capable of going 100K miles or better w/o any real issues (if taken care of). This was/is one of the best motors Honda ever made. Very reliable...very powerful (even by today's big cc standards). Stock motor pumps out a very respectable 130HP!!! These were considered a "Sport Bike" breed back in those days...but compared to what is now a modern "Sport Bike"...these early CBR's would be more correctly categorized as a "Sport-Touring" bike. Big, Fast, Comfortable...capable of being ridden for much longer distances without the agony one might experience w/the modern sport bikes that are razor sharp and don't have much of a seat and you have to lean over at a steeper angle. Big plush seat...heavy by today's standards...but that gives them great stability on the highway on longer rides...not affected by crosswinds/headwinds or tractor-trailers! Runs like a 2 wheeled locomotive.Yet these CBR's are agile enough to carve easily through the back road twists & turns. Recently reduced the price from $5200 to $4900. Come spring price goes back up. Bike is located in west Endicott, NY, In storage at the moment. Shown by appointment. "NO TEXT MESSAGES"!!!
