QR Code Link to This Post 1996 Kawasaki VN800-B1 Vulcan 800 ClassicWarmer days are coming, time to get ready for cruising season! Water cooled Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic Cruiser BARN FIND. This bike was in storage for 15 years, last tagged in 2002. Runs well, but will need a little work. (Oil change, gearbox oil, some fuel line work, Front brake bled, new tires, and a good check over) I was going to finish it, but too many projects and too many bills.Clear title. No liens, and registered.The Good:- Rides great and goes through all the gears, and will stop. (Front brake needs a bleed) - New seat - New Battery - New headlamp - New tail lamps - New coolant - New Tires (Not installed) - Wheel balancing beads - New bike cover - Service Manual includedThe Bad:- Needs new main fuel line (some light leakage) - Needs a better chain (Another used chain is included) - Only the ignition key exists, the "lock" key is gone. Fuel cap has been drilled out, and the steering lock, helmet lock, and toolbox lock will need a new key. - Brake lights were working intermittently. Probably the relay or a loose wire. - Needs front brake flushThe Ugly:- Some "wrong" bolts and nuts here and there.
