QR Code Link to This Post 2009 BMW F650GS Dual-Sport Motorcycle in Excellent condition is ready for you to take a ride! I bought this bike brand new while living on Oahu, HI, just a few months before I moved back to the mainland U.S. It can easily cost over $20k to get a sport-touring or similar bike, so with this bike and all the extra parts added on, you can have a "touring" style bike and go ANYWHERE! This bike has been amazing and the only reason that I am selling it is because of some health issues and injuries that have made it hard on my back to ride for the last couple years. This bike has just about every bell and whistle that the factory was offering, except for the automatic tire pressure gauge (I didn't want to bother with it, since I knew that I would have to inspect my tires and check the air pressure anyways). Included are Heated Hand grips, ABS, 6-speed transmission, and an on-board computer with thermometer, MPG, and many other functions. I also had the dealership install a couple extra parts including engine skid-plate, engine guards, handle-bar brush-guards, and handle-bar risers (so my shoulders wouldn't get tired on long rides). As soon as I had the money, I added an aftermarket windscreen made from high-grade aviation plastic (by Cee Bailey) but still have the original if you would like it as well. The next thing to be installed were a set of Odyssey II metal tank panniers with bag liners, the largest and best that anyone makes ($1,000+ new). These things are like extra armor and will also help keep your leg from getting trapped if you set the bike down! Also included is an expandable tank bag that sits on top of the gas tank, has a water-proof bag for items inside, and clear viewing window for a map in top. This bike is light enough for both small-frame and large body-types to easily pick up, and has enough power to pass anything on the freeway. Both the original seat, and a custom made heated leather seat made by Corbin are included. There's also a tire patch and portable tire pump-kit that works with the accessory plug, and a Shoei full-face helmet with both clear and tinted visor. As a disclaimer, there is some minor damage to the body where the paint has chipped off (Not pictured: about the size of a quarter/silver dollar).This bike has the normal factory frame and suspension height option (not the low-frame option) and worked just fine for me at 5'9" tall with 30" inseam. I bought some thick-soled boots to help (not included), which I recommend in the case that you are not certain if the bike is too tall for you. This engine is whisper quiet with a low throttle growl. When on the freeway, it begins to hum around 68-72mph as you hit the "zone", and then settles again as you get above 75mph.This bike has everything that you would want or need for touring, commuting, or on/off road adventures. These 650cc BMWs are highly valued among bike enthusiasts, often having multiple owners, as they hold their value and keep running for many years.
