GREEN 2005 ZX6R 636 17K Miles (Annandale) $3900

QR Code Link to This Post As is the classic story of a broke college student needing money.. This is the second motorcycle I'm selling to meet my financial responsibilities. If I could keep it I would, unfortunately that is not in the cards. When I purchased this ZX6R a couple months ago, I test rode 4 different bikes (R6, GSXR, Daytona 675, and this ZX6R) and I chose this for a couple reasons: It has great low end torque unlike the R6 and even more top end, better styling than the GSXR and still more power, and a much better shifter/slipper clutch that the Daytona didn't have. Of course it's all subjective but the ZX6R is a great jack of all trades.. plus its bright green. This is still one of the most powerful 600cc class bikes you can buy, even against the newest ZX6R 636.While this bike is relatively clean, there are scrapes on the left side fairing where the PO dropped the bike in his garage, additionally, it has warped front rotors which I'll discuss below. Otherwise, it starts on the first couple cranks everytime and comes with some goodies: - Two brothers slip on exhaust - Euro Jumper Kit (Much more top end power to 16k redline) - Michelin Power 3s with 2k miles on them - Fender elimnator - New EBC HH Brake pads all around - Renthal Grips (Will include stockers) - Shorty levers - Tank pad - (Not installed) -1 +2 sprocket and chain kitOne issue is the front rotors are warped but don't be alarmed. I come from riding a 1982 Magna and the rear brakes on this ZX6R are more powerful than both brakes on that. To give you context, I can get up to 155 on this bike and stop in half the time with just engine braking and the rear brake then I'd be able to both brakes from 120 on the Magna. That isn't to say the front brakes aren't usable but vibrations are noticeably present. Now, I have experience working on these so if you would like to purchase the bike, I could replace the rotors for free so long as you include the parts. I just don't have the money to buy new rotors right now.If you have any questions feel free to text me as I don't check my email often, thanks. -Nick
