I bought it new and took one road trip from Oxford AL to Front Royal VA (northern VA) on the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive thru the Shenandoah National Park and then straight back home the same route. What a wonderful trip and the bike was fantastic. Nice performance and smooth ride. The only reason it is for sale is that I love the touring so much I now want an even bigger bike. I bought a new oil filter at Bama Power Sports in Oxford before we started the road trip because I knew I would be in the mountains on the Blue Ridge Parkway an away from any motorcycle dealerships when the 600 mile break-in service came due. I stopped in Sparta NC at an auto parts store and bought four quarts of the most expensive Mobile 1 motorcycle oil on the market ($11.95 per quart) and performed the service with new oil and Suzuki filter in their parking lot, even bought an oil filter wrench and oil pan, which I gave to two young men in the store. Just so you know, I am 68 years old and been riding motorcycles all my life, and I know how to take care of them. This bike is absolutely like NEW.
