QR Code Link to This Post Hey I have a Honda Prelude I bought as a daily driver. I normally drive a motorcycle to save money on gas and insurance money. Due to me losing my job I have decided to just keep driving the motorcycle and to get rid of the car. The interior is in excellent shape, has lots of tread on the tires, auto sunroof, doors, and it has ice cold AC. It is a pretty good car aside from a few things that need to be taken care of listed below.show contact info Flaws or things that need to be fixed:The body isn't in perfect condition, it has dings and scratches on various places but it isn't really noticeable unless you are up close.The transmission needs to be flushed, cleaned, and or / needs a new solenoid. When it isn't warmed up it will shift hard in lower gears or over rev a little before it shifts. When it warms up this issue goes away which leads me to believe that filters or solenoids in the transmissions are clogged with some junk. The computer throws a code for one of the transmission solenoids and it could be a an easy fix but I don't have the time, place, or money to work on it. I have brand new honda ATF for it but I wouldn't waste it unless you give the transmission good cleaning / flush.show contact info It throws a code for the 02 sensor ($50 to buy replacement online).The car wont rev past 5k (The computer is preventing vtec from kicking in. I don't know if it is because of the transmission solenoid or the 02 sensor or what.. There aren't any other codes throwing to indicate why this is.)There is a crack on the front windshield.The rear right taillight is cracked from a someone hitting the bumper. A new bumper has been put on and I have a replacement taillight I haven't put on it yet. I just don't have the time. If you can figure out what is causing the hard shift when the car is cool then it could be a steal for you. Leave me an offer because the price is OBO.
