Sixt Doubles Down on US Expansion

The car rental industry in the United States is already extremely competitive, but Sixt is one company jumping head first into the market.It already boasts more than 2,000 locations in over 100 countries, but the company made headlines last week when it opened a new corporate headquarters in Fort Lauderdale.During a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Sixt SE Global CEO Erich Sixt joined elected officials, business leaders, public sector partners and members of respected business organizations to highlight how the company will provide world-class service to American car rental customers.The official YouTube page of Sixt provided a video of the CEO’s full comments from the company’s headquarters launch.[embedded content]Sixt’s Florida headquarters cost the company $10.4 million to build and will create 300 jobs over five years, with an average annual pay for employees of $52,938.
