Watch Out for Pee on Your United Flight

A man from New Jersey has filed a lawsuit against United Airlines after he was allegedly urinated on by another passenger during a flight.According to FoxNews.com, Daniel Card was traveling from Los Angeles International Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport on United Flight 1871 when a heavily intoxicated passenger sat next to him.The lawsuit claims the drunken man took out his penis while sitting in his seat and began urinating all over Card’s leg. Card was confined to his seat due to the plane was preparing for takeoff.MORE Airlines & AirportsCard said he attempted to wake up the intoxicated passenger, but he was passed out and smelled like alcohol. After alerting the flight crew several times, Card claims he was finally moved from the urine-soaked seat, but still had to continue to the cross-country flight with clothing that smelled like urine.According to the lawsuit, police boarded the plane after it safely landed in Newark and interviewed both Card and the drunken man.The intoxicated passenger said he had no recollection of the incident and admitted to drinking heavily at the airport bar in Los Angeles.READ MORE: Flight Cheers as Passenger Subdues Drunk FlierCard said he believes police wouldn’t have intervened if his father had not called them himself. He is now suing for assault, negligence, breach of contract and emotional distress. United’s Contract of Carriage said it’s the airline’s job to remove any passenger who appears to be too intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.“We have not yet been served with this suit and due to the pending litigation involved in this matter, we’re unable to provide further comment,” a United spokesman told FoxNews.com.Follow @Donald_Wood
