[unable to retrieve full-text content]On 17 July 2017, the Council adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2017/1338[1]. The Council Decision applies restrictions on the sale, supply, transfer or export of certain vessels and motors to Libya which could be used in the smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings. The Candidate Countries Albania*, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia*, Montenegro* and Serbia*, the country of the Stabilisation and Association Process and potential candidate Bosnia and Herzegovina, the EFTA countries Iceland and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, as well as the Republic of Moldova, Armenia and Georgia align themselves with this Council Decision. They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision. The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
