I am a KTM owner for many years and very particular with my bikes, owning more than 13. I know this bike from tip to tip. This is my son's bike. He has his license, working, and simply is not riding anymore. I no longer ride, so that is also impacting his riding. It has not seriously been ridden this year, just a jaunt in the woods around the house from time to time. Piston interval: new piston at 40 hours, rings at 80, new piston at 120 (Wiseco forged installed). Pic of cylinder was taken when new piston went in. Cross hatch is still nice. Ran Amsoil premix exclusively. Motor: Case matched to cylinder, cylinder ported, and head milled for more compression and efficient burn.
