QR Code Link to This Post This beautiful vintage motorcycle is my 4th Venture Royale in the last 15 years. My first was a '83, then a '93, an '85, then this '87! Powered by a V4, 1300cc engine with 5-speed manual Wet clutch trans and shaft final drive, they're just awesome machines for the money, rated at 114 horses, stock, giving you lots of 2 up and loaded power, with plenty of long-distance riding comfort. It's a cool sports car on 2 wheels! I bought the bike 3 years ago with about 24k miles on it ... and put over 20k on it myself... as well as many upgrades and improvements, i.e., new stereo speakers installed, new Barnett Clutch with actuator hardware, new OEM Voltage Regulator. Many of the more accessible electrical system harnesses have been wire brush cleaned and greased, and new tires and brakes installed last fall, front and rear (Dunlap 404s), replaced CDI box, rebuilt compressor controller, replaced Exhaust Collector... Both forks rebuilt with new seals, progressive springs, and complete tune-up with air filter. The seat was comfort dished and recovered. A new Duracell High Output Gel Battery was installed just last fall, with the valves being recently adjusted... she purrs with a NICE rumble down the highway! Recently added: 2 SS Flag masts ($125), Chrome Kyryakyn Highway pegs ($125), and LED Driving Lights ($150) ... As some of you already know, these engines are well-known and so-called, "bullet proof", in the Venture circles!Personally, I think you can compare this machine to any $25,000 machine on the road... and be happy about it!!! I know, there's a few of you out there that already know this too! Enjoy the ride!!!...Tank bag and GPS units shown are NOT included...Why am I selling it, you ask? First, my hips just won't take the position anymore and I don't want to end up dropping the bike. Life just changes direction when you're not looking! We have twin boys at home that are now 13, and it's time for a change in riding style... more off road to include the whole family (simple, can't afford both and don't necessarily want to) ... I'm looking for a 2007 or newer 749cc Ural with side car, 2 wheel drive...
