I bought this car for $3k as a project but ended up not liking it. Its a fun car and feels great on canyon runs and spirited drives. Although cosmetically a decent amount of work is needed, she is mechanically healthy. I am in no rush to get rid of it. I will continue to fix her up and clean her and make her more appealing. But as i put more money in, the price will rise. Pros
-About 140k miles(and counting)
-Very clean and healthy engine and drive train
-Freshly changed fluids
-pop ups work
-Glass window soft top
-Very easy to drive
-Lots of potential
-If you test drive it, youll love it.
-Miatas are appreciating in value very quickly. Buying this wony only be fun, but also a great finacial asset. You can expect to make a great profit.Cons:
-A few dents, nothing too bad
-Needs paint
-Wheels/Tires(Ill explain after the cons list)
-Registration runs out this month (August)
-No speakers or stereo
-Idles rough after long freeway drives(typical miata thing/easy fix)
-Small dash crack
-No cluster cover
-Its a car from 1992, it needs some tlc
-No exhaust after car(custom $800 exhaist coming soon)
-Smog
-AirbagAbout the wheels. I bought the car only about a month ago. I didnt realize every one of the lug nuts required a key. A key which was missing and is no longer made.
What sucks is that the wheels are massive for a miata (16"). The back tires rub on bigger/faster bumps. On the bright side, the wheels are enkeis. I have no idea what kind but yeah. Massive, 16", scratched Enkeis. As I mentioned before, I am still slowly fixing the car, so that may change soon. Price is firm. Will trade for motorcyle or a manual transmission rear wheel drive car. Preferably a BMW E30 325i coupe. Regardless if you are interested, dont hesitsate to text me and ask for a test drive.
