Fatalities reported following Las Ramblas incident

Las Ramblas is one of the most famous tourism sites in Barcelona Fatalities have been reported after a van drove through crowds walking on Las Ramblas, a popular tourism site in Barcelona. Visitors have been urged to stay away from the Plaça de Catalunya after what police describe as a “massive crash”.People in the area dived for cover in shops and cafes, with many feared injured. Emergency services have requested the closure of local metro and train stations as they hunt the perpetrators.The driver is believed to have fled on foot following the incident.
